Samson Cherarkey

Samson Kiprotich Cherargei is a Kenyan lawyer and politician serving as the Senator for Nandi County since 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, qualifying him as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He was first elected on a Jubilee Party ticket and successfully defended his seat under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in 2022. In the Senate, he is known for his active participation in legislative debates, particularly on devolution, public finance, governance, and agriculture
