Rosa Buyu

Rosa Buyu (formally Rozaah Akinyi Buyu) is a prominent Kenyan politician representing the Kisumu West Constituency in the National Assembly on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket. Elected to Parliament first as the Kisumu County Woman Representative in 2017, she successfully transitioned to the Kisumu West MP seat in 2022. Before her political career, she was an educator and brand manager. Known for her advocacy for women's and youth empowerment, she has also been recognized for constituency-level initiatives such as funding a free hearse service to support bereaved families.
