Okong'o Omogeni

Senator Kennedy Erick Okong'o Omogeni is a Kenyan lawyer, constitutional expert, and politician serving as the Senator for Nyamira County. Before joining elective politics, he served as a Commissioner at the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution, where he played a role in implementing Kenya's 2010 Constitution. Since his election to the Senate in 2022 on the ODM ticket, he has been active in legislative oversight and governance matters. He has publicly positioned himself as a challenger for the Nyamira governorship in the 2027 General Election, promising reforms in service delivery, accountability, and development.
