Mohammed Ali

Mohammed Ali is a Kenyan politician, journalist, and the Member of Parliament for Nyali Constituency, Mombasa County. He is popularly known as “Jicho Pevu” due to his career as an investigative journalist, where he became known for exposing social issues through investigative reports. He joined politics and was elected Nyali MP in 2017, later retaining the seat in 2022 under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Mohammed Ali has expressed interest in contesting for the Mombasa County gubernatorial seat and focuses on issues such as better service delivery, accountability, and development.
