Hon. Boyd Were

Hon. Boyd Were is the son of the late Kasipul MP, Charles Ong’ondo Were. Following his father's sudden demise, local elders and ODM party structures backed Boyd to carry forward his father's legislative vision.Running on an ODM ticket, he won a decisive victory in the November 2025 Kasipul by-election, comfortably beating his closest independent challenger, Philip Aroko.He took his official oath of office in the National Assembly on December 2, 2025.
