Hon. Andrew Adipo Okuome is an accomplished Kenyan economist, accountant, and politician who currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Karachuonyo Constituency in Homa Bay County. Born in 1939, he holds advanced credentials in Economics from the University of Maryland and built an extensive corporate accounting career working for high-profile institutions, including the Kenya Airports Authority. Nationally celebrated for his political resilience, he made history by contesting the Karachuonyo parliamentary seat for 37 consecutive years starting in 1980, finally clinching victory in 2017 at the age of 81.
