George Aladwa Omwera

George Aladwa Omwera is a Kenyan politician and grassroots political leader serving as the Member of Parliament for Makadara Constituency. He is one of ODM's longest-serving Nairobi officials and previously served as the last Mayor of Nairobi City Council before the office was abolished following the implementation of county governments in 2013. Before joining the National Assembly, he served for many years as a Nairobi councillor and later became an influential figure in ODM as the party's Nairobi County Chairman
