Danson Buya Mungatana

Dr. Danson Buya Mungatana is a Kenyan lawyer, advocate, and politician serving as the Senator for Tana River County. Before joining the Senate, he represented Garsen Constituency in the National Assembly for two terms and served as an Assistant Minister in various government ministries. He has also chaired the Kenya Ports Authority Board and served as a Commissioner of the COMESA Competition Commission. His public service has focused on devolution, legal reform, infrastructure, and economic development in Tana River County
